1970s Danish Modern Oak Kurul Armchairs by Henning Kjaernulf - a Pair

About the Item

Inspired by the curule seat of Ancient Rome, these Danish Modern armchairs were designed by Henning Kjaernulf and made in the 1970s. They consist of a sturdy oak frame with a striped wool upholstery and brass studded trimming. Beautiful, curved legs characterize the legs, which are echoed in the scooped upper frame.  Dimensions: 24.5 in. width 12 in. depth 33 in. height 17.75 in. seat height Condition notes:  In good condition, with surface wear consistent with the chairs' age and use. Upholstery has some loosened threads.
