About the Item

This is a set of eight American Walnut Armchairs, attributed to Jens Risom Designs. This set dates to the 1970s, and the listed price includes the set of eight chairs as shown. Their design features a solid walnut frame having boxy arms, and has an upholstered seat and back rest in a dark brown/black hopsack fabric. The double bar behind the back rest lends interest to the classic design. These came to us from an office where nearly everything else was sourced from Jens Risom Designs. Each chair measures 23.5 inches long, 23.5 inches wide, and 30.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 18.5 inches. The pieces have some light scuffs and scratches on their wooden frames, and the upholstery fabric has some stains present. There is slight fading to the wood. Overall, this set is in good condition.
