An important and rare pair of original French Art Deco period cubist arm chairs of simple and very elegant design. The warm brown finished rosewood is exceptionally well-figured and trimmed with a thin nickeled bronze decorative banding all around the base and overall. Since these chairs are finished on all three sides, they can be placed freestanding in the middle of a room featuring a beautiful back.
