20th Century Diego Mattu Pair of Armchairs Model Malù for 1p in White Fabric

About the Item

1P - INDUSTRIA CHIMICA PER L'ARREDAMENTO is an Italian manufacturer, active between 1967 and 1986, based in Florence. Thanks to the collaboration with several Italian designers (such as Emilio Guarnacci, Felix Padovano and also Gaetano Pesce), this agency arrived to promote the use of the plastic and other "new" material for the seating, shocking the traditional concept of seating (usually in wooden structure). This model of armchair "Malù", designed by Diego Mattu, is again a demonstration of how new materials, such as ABS and polyurethane, can be used for the structure of a seating. This revolutionary seating could be also thought as sectional sofa, so you can put one close to the other creating a little sofa. Good condition, new upholstery, ready to be shipped.
