20th Century Regency Style Leather & Mahogany Armchairs, Pair

About the Item

Handsome pair of 20th century Regency style leather armchairs, with olive-green leather upholstery and mahogany frame. They are designed with classic button tufting, armrests lined with metal studs, and curving arms and legs that recall Art Nouveau vine forms. The mahogany has a warm, dark-brown finish that beautifully complements the leather. Dimensions: 24 in. width 30 in. depth 34 in. height 20 in. arm height 15 in. seat height 20.5 in. seat width 18 in. seat depth Condition notes: In good condition. General wear to leather including scratches and discoloration that are consistent with the chairs' age and use. One seat button-tufting with hole.

This is a beautiful antique giltwood armchair, in the fabulous Regency style, and early 20th century in date. The gilded chair has been beautifully carved with reeded lines and medallion plaques. The arms and supports scroll out in exaggerated curves which support the lime green upholstered back and seat. Add a touch of class to your home with this exceptional antique armchair.
