As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, Jorgensen pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.
In a world of temporary pleasures, Erik Jorgensen creates beautiful furniture that lasts a lifetime, and remains a joy forever.
This suite is in superb, beautifully-maintained condition, reflecting the exceptionally infrequent employment it has seen in the past, and is largely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably light use afforded it in the past, with only a couple of minor issues worthy of mention.
In this case, the synthetic-suede "Alcantara" has very, very-light signs of use across the seat and armrest-areas (as is common for this fabric) and there is the odd, light mark, scratch and ding to the bases too but, as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of little significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detracts from the beauty of the suite, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy.
Please view the images provided closely to confirm the fine original condition and stunning appearance of these icons. Whilst its current condition is likely to fall short of the requirements of the true-perfectionist due to the issues mentioned above, for most people and purposes this suite is truly heaven sent!
The dimensions of each chair are H-76cm, W-80cm, W-69cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered composite-filled back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only do they possess an aesthetic to die for, but they seat beautifully too.
Costing in excess of £10,000 when new, it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.
