A stylish Aesthetic Movement ebonized armchair with sweeping side rail incorporating the upholstered armrests which are set back to accommodate those wonderful hoop dresses of the Victorian period, so a lady can rest her arms with her dress billowing out in front of her, and always hiding the ankles of a lady. With turned front legs and turned supports centralized into the back legs. We have had this armchair professionally reupholstered.
