Antique Danish 19th Century Pair of Baroque Carved High Back Armchairs

About the Item

A gorgeous pair of high back armchairs in solid oak. Hand carved by a Danish cabinetmaker in the 19th century. The overall impression is really good. These fine armchairs will complement many interior styles. A modern, antique, classic, Scandinavian or an Art Deco home deco. "Baroque furniture shares some characteristics with other artistic mediums during this period, the most distinctive being the elaborate ornamentation. Furniture pieces had plenty of details. In Baroque designs, decorative elements were never too much."
