We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite original X Framed circa 1810-1820 Regency Reclining brown leather Chesterfield tufted armchair that has been fully restored What a chair! I have never seen another like it, the frame is traditional Regency and looks important and expensive from any angle This chair has been on a complete journey of restoration, the frame had some structural issues which have been restored by our in house carpenter, he also replaced the non-functioning castors for a suite of modern Victorian style Porcelain castors, the leather has been washed back, hand dyed six times, antiqued and sealed then waxed down and the frame lightly French polished, this piece has all the original charm and charisma but is restored to a state where it is ready to go for another 100 years Dimensions erected Height:- 124.5cm Width:- 58cm Depth:- 95.5cm Seat height:- 60.5cm Dimensions reclined Height:- 104cm Width:- 58cm Depth:- 155.5cm Seat height:- 56cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid CONDITION Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
