About the Item
From its first sketch to its execution, Armchair_01 handmade from leather and steel, designed as a simple, classic and sophisticated piece of furniture. Its ergonomic structure provides support of the lower back, alongside the use of strong and flexible four-millimeter thick leather which reacts to the human body and changes accordingly over time, making it one’s own special chair. The Armchair_01 is available in different leather colors: Black, Matte Brown, Shiny-chocolate Brown, Camel and Tan.
Nachshon is a furniture design house from Haifa, Israel, with a deep-rooted belief in the value of craft and craftsmanship. We aim to design aesthetic and precise furniture, while implementing the understanding of materials, Technics, and the human needs. We aspire to create furniture that lasts for generations and a part of a long-life cycle. Simultaneously, they can fit in any scenario and in different atmospheres. We balance between classic international design to our contemporary and local point of view, as well as combining traditional materials with new Technics and technologies. Thus, every detail in our work is important and gets full attention. We give the utmost attention to the materials which we work with and to its natural characterization. Every furniture in our collection holds a story – from the first inspiration through production and the complete creation.
