Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau Oak Armchair Attributed to Carel Adolph Lion Cachet

About the Item

Magnificent and rare Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau armchair. Design attributed to Carel Adolph Lion Cachet. Solid oak base with original hand-carved elements. Original solid macassar ebony hand-carved elements underneath the armrests. The backside of this large armchair or throne has a solid macassar ebony panel. The cushion is made of an old Persian rug. This wonderful Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau armchair attributed to Carel Adolph Lion Cachet is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. We will ship this museum piece in a custom made wooden crate for safe transport when purchased by overseas buyers!
