About the Item

This custom, elegant white oak lounge chair by Thomas Hayes Studio has a pivoting back, floating wood arms, and an upholstered seat. The angle of the back creates good lumbar support and each handcrafted chair is sturdy, comfortable and versatile. The frame is accented with solid patinated brass plugs and the arms are paddle shaped, available in a variety of woods and finishes. This item is available for custom order and the lead time is 6-10 weeks; sometimes we are able to complete projects faster, so please contact us to inquire. This particular set is white oak wood with blanched oil and light patina plugs. Measurements: Seat height: 16.5" Seat depth: 23" Wood options: Solid walnut Oak Mahogany Finish options: A variety of satin lacquer and oil finishes are available; please inquire for all wood/finish options. Plug options: Solid brass plugs are available in light patina, dark patina, polished, or brushed, starting at the top and going clockwise. Please refer to the last image to see these options. Also available with solid matching wood plugs. Bronze spacer options: Available in light patina, dark patina, polished, or brushed. Condition: For any custom pieces with solid wood or wood veneer, we deliberately choose to use beautifully figural wood that may have some irregularities. You can expect much variation in grain and some knots, slight cracks, and small filled knot holes that are naturally occurring in the completed pieces. It is part of our aesthetic and process when making handcrafted pieces to not attempt to hide these natural irregularities that we believe make a piece more beautiful and unique.
