About the Item
Modular Sofa - Armchair / Armchairs in black metallic Patina
Technical and tactile like an air-cooled engine, Lamè melts the hardware world of engines mechanics with the softness of a seat. The foamy grey leather welcomes you to chill-out while the materic structure gives to the piece a sense of ethereal stability. The gaps between the slats represents a “screen” between the front and the back of the sofa, conferring to this piece its sensuality.
Handmade in Italy using the finest natural leather, the seating and backrest show a peculiar chain stitching to ensure durability while recalling the style of vintage cars' seats. We chose a natural tanned leather because we wanted it to develop a rich and uneven patina over time, to match the coating of the wooden shell.
Made by Spinzi Milano for the Design Week , this prototype is a very unique piece and is a one-off , to add a great character to any space !
