Early Victorian unusual shaped large armchair

About the Item

If you would like this armchair upholstered please click yes in the upholstery drop down menu. This would require 6 metres of material. You can supply your own or please get in touch and we will send you the list of fabric companies we work with. All my antique armchairs have been fully restored, springs, legs, padding etc so these will stand the test of time even if used everyday. This is an exceptional quality early Victorian armchair most likely by Sopwith. The unusual shaped back is what makes this different and certainly a talking point. Generous size and very comfy. Standing on tall mahogany legs with original large brass casters. The mahogany show wood front rail is also a nice detail. Height 105cm Width 73cm Depth 91cm Depth of seat 58cm Height of seat 45cm
