19th Century Victorian Period Tub Shaped Armchair

About the Item

A 19th century very attractive Victorian period tub shaped high shield back armchair. Raised on turned carved legs, upholstered in a light purple velvet fabric. Great form with a shaped back to increase the comfort. The fabric is in good condition, no wear or stains to report. This armchair or bergères will bring a refined and unique touch to any interior. The seat height is 36cm. The dimensions are: Height: 84cm (33.1in) Width: 64cm (25.2in) Depth: 76cm (29.9in). This great quality light purple velvet upholstered armchair is in good antique condition throughout with no signs of age. The upholstery remain in stunning quality, clean condition. This bergère remains structurally sound. Overall, a very good example of a quality camel back sofa or settee.
