Empire Eclectic Set, Unique Set of 4 Armchairs Each in Different Design

About the Item

Here the set of 4 Empire armchairs. Each armchair carries a typical motif of the empire style. Refers to the moment of re-discover of classical ornaments. Swans, Acanthus leaves, Shells, Palms. The Empire style survived to Napoleon and continued dispersed in many streams in each of the rebuilt nations of the Restauration. Just an unique set for a customer who wants his home to speak about not having repetitions. Each arm chair is a work of art. Scattered around a living room will just enrich of style and conversations point your home. Around a round table or lined up. I was able to put together this interesting sets from the collection that is probably the widest mid-19th century chair collection. It's all made of single chairs and armchairs, so the idea of building eclectic set was the perfect answer. Thanks to the collector's deep knowledge we could coordinate chairs of homogeneous style and this vibrant mix. From a Biedermeier collector in Verona, chairs will be sent as they are or complimentary reupholstered and with a French polish or wax refreshment layer. Listed measure is the first one on the left of the lower row with a cream seat. Complete list of measures will be sent on request. Listed as country of origin France however is should be Europe as the Empire had continuity in all European countries, including the various Italian states. Here the measures of the first two from the left of each row Upper left height 91 cm, width 54.5 cm, depth 61 cm Lower left height 92 cm, width 58.5 cm, depth 62 cm.
