About the Item

English arts and crafts brown walnut armchair, attributed to JS Henry circa 1900. Scrolled terminals atop a solid back and seat newly upholstered in off-white boucle. Flanked by outswept arms supported by turned uprights. Carved wavy front stretcher. Note: Due to regional changes in humidity and climate during shipping, antique wood may shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer may loosen or peel, and painted finishes and gilt may flake and crack.
