An unusual English circa 1830 George IV, William IV period regency form armchair or bergere, the solid mahogany frame having shaped crest rail and scroll arms with caned back, sides, and seat with loose squab cushion on turned front legs and splayed rear with horizontal chamfered stretcher support, all on original brass casters. Please note that seat height given is to the top of the seat rail; with cushion: 16"; arm height: 26".
