English Walnut George II Style Open Armchair of Large Scale

About the Item

A nicely scaled English walnut open armchair in the George II style with an upholstered drop in seat. This attractive and commodious chair sits well and is quite comfortable. The shepherd's crook arms have a lovely incised detail and the cabriole legs are joined by an interesting wavey stretcher. Attractive overall color. Circa 1890-1900.
