Exquisitely hand-sculpted armchairs by Erik Andersen and Palle Pedersen for Randers Møbelfabrik, showcasing exceptional precision through a complex interplay of sculptural curves, meticulously shaped across both horizontal and vertical planes.
The continuous, crescent-shaped backrest seamlessly transitions into the armrests, meeting at the center with beautifully exposed joinery. Crafted from richly toned teak, the rear leg is slightly flared and, through arched joinery, merges fluidly into the backrest—a testament to the precision and craftsmanship of early Scandinavian design.
The distinctive four-leg structure offers a more dynamic and sculptural base compared to the typical rectangular footprint. A rounded seat upholstered in the original black leather provides a striking visual contrast to the warm teak wood.
