Fine Pair of Fully Restored Antique Art Deco Armchairs Hand Carved Carved Panels

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning fully restored pair of antique hand dyed Cigar brown leather Art Deco club armchairs with hand carved panels. An exceptionally good looking well-made and comfortable pair of armchairs, these are some of the most decorative I have ever seen, they really command attention in any setting, in truth I would love to keep them but I just don't have the space The chairs are circa 1900-1920 Art deco, they have fully coil sprung frames so the back and seat base which adds to the comfort, the lines are sublime, truly sublime. The leather is thick saddle hide upholstery which was fitted new a couple of years ago, we have washed it back and hand dyed it this glorious rich cigar brown colour which is exclusive to my leather polishers. They have hand dyed maybe 5000 pieces for me over the years, this is the only pair to have this exact colour, it is amazing. Dimensions height:- 79cm width:- 68cm depth:- 98cm seat height:- 41.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
