French Art Nouveau Period Bentwood Armchair by Thonet
About the Item
An early 20th century bentwood armchair in good original condition, manufactured by Thonet in Austria. Embossed seat with the back and armrests, supported by curved braces and the seat rests on gently curved legs joined by a circular support, harmonically integrated, providing stability and comfort. Great patina. Would be quite useful for a desk chair or could have many other uses. They are also quite comfortable with the curved backs.
