George III period wing armchair

About the Item

A good George III period mahogany wing armchair of classical design with serpentine top rail and conforming serpentine front seat rail. Standing on square section champhered legs joined by plain stretchers. Newly upholstered in a good quality soft yellow cotton fabric with terracotta colours dots. The frame and legs in good sound original condition without breaks or replacements. A classic piece of English Georgian furniture in beatiful condition. Seat height 46 cms.
