About the Item

Glide Armchair Designed by Monica Förster The Glide armchair is inspired by the constant transformations of nature-the fluid transition from one form to another, and from one state to the next, like snow gently melting in spring. Monica Förster has designed a light, essential armchair that conceals an unexpected depth of comfort. A slender metal frame supports the seat, which is both wide and remarkably slim. Its comfort derives from the carefully crafted material: molded polyurethane with varying thicknesses, designed to follow the natural contours of the body. The result is an airy, spontaneous embrace that envelops the sitter in soft support, combining visual lightness with a welcoming tactile experience. Dimensions W 106 × D 65 × H 61 cm - Seat H 37 cm W 41.73" × D 25.59" × H 24.01" - Seat H 14.56" Materials & Structure Internal Structure: Molded polyurethane with differentiated thickness Frame: Structure T02 - White RAL 9016 Upholstery: Guarana leather, Cat. V Details: Slim, lightweight metal frame supporting the ergonomically shaped seat Key Features Design: Light, essential, inspired by the fluidity of nature Comfort: Ergonomically shaped polyurethane follows body contours Elegance: Slim, airy frame creates a visual sense of lightness Versatility: Suitable for residential and contract environments Why Choose Glide Glide is more than an armchair-it is a synthesis of elegance, comfort, and simplicity. Its refined proportions, light structure, and enveloping seat make it a perfect expression of Monica Förster's philosophy: design that is essential yet highly functional, inspired by nature's subtle poetry.
