Graphic Italian Armchair, 1940s

About the Item

This armchair is looking like a sculpture. It clearly bears the influence of the great Italian architects designers of the north like Carlo Molino. The armchair is solid in proportion and has a classicality typical of the 1940s. The chrome tubular shows that it has adopted the modernity of tubular furniture while being classical. The subtleness resides in the arms treated like sculptural elements clearly announcing the 1950s style.
