About the Item
Extraordinary hand-carved library armchair designed by Hendrix Allardyce Hollywood, CA. Crafted in the Venetian taste with neoclassical motifs of acanthus and rosettes on the painted frame. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an intentionally aged, distressed patina on the painted finish to mimic an 18th century piece. Newly upholstered with plush fabric including a fitted loose seat cushion. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. Arms measure 27 inches high.
