About the Item

An armchair designed by Danish architect Henning Kjærnulf, who was active during the mid-century period. Its simple design using materials such as teak wood draws the eye with a presence that sets it apart from typical Scandinavian furniture. This piece is part of the "RAZOR BLADE" series, inspired by Kjærnulf's motif of a razor blade. The distinctive backrest features his trademark abstract blade design, softened with rounded contours. It is a chair that evokes a sense of classical style, offering a unique fusion of Scandinavian vintage and traditional elegance. [Fabric] The fabric, made of 100% polyester, uses recycled yarn derived from PET bottles, certified with a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) traceability certificate. Both the fabric and inner materials have been reupholstered domestically in Japan.
