Italian Rattan & Red Wool Seat High Back Midcentury Armchairs, Set of 2
About the Item
This beautiful pair of rattan and rush armchairs was produced in Italy in the late 1950s. Their high quality and fine design resemble similar examples of the contemporary Azucena production. The chairs feature their original red fabric pillows and remain in overall good vintage condition:
the cushions and backs in wool are original and as such have slight defects due to time and wear (see detailed pictures).
Each armchair shows a visible asymmetrical posture at one armrest.
Minor losses to the structure. small restoration works. the finish is original and shows signs of wear with oxidations and gaps in the paint.
