Jacobean Style Mahogany & Leather Armchair

About the Item

A Jacobean style leather chair dating from the late 1800's. Made of mahogany, the seat and back are upholstered in leather secured with large nailheads. Reeded arms are carved with scrolls at each end and detailed with acanthus leaves and trailing florals. Carved and turned legs are supported with a serpentine x stretcher.
