About the Item

Rare pair of 'Cleon' lounge chairs designed by Martin Visser and manufactured by 't Spectrum, Holland 1964. The chairs have solid beech wooden slat structure which was white wahed, this design was clearly inspired by the works from Gerrit Rietveld. The cushions are supported by black rubber straps for comfortable seating. The wood is fully original, the cushions are newly upholstered with very nice off white linen upholstery. The upholstery is identical to the original upholstery so this is how the chair should look originally, normally these are remade with easy square cushions as these cushions are much more difficult to make. Fantastic modern pair of lounge chairs, very rare and hard to find and in fantastic condition. Like all of our upholstered pieces these can also be newly upholstered to your admiration. We only use the best quality fabrics, foam and materials for all of our items to your choice.
