Mid-20th century deco inspired shell back armchair, circa 1940.
A fine example of Swedish design with comfort in mind. Shell back shaped with additional head cushion suspended by rope string. Scrolling elm arm rests with matching tapered legs.
Front edge of the chair is worn and frayed to piping making this an ideal candidate for re-covering.
Very comfortable chair and well designed, imagine re-covered in a tan leather. Ideal for that hotel foyer or in the home.
