Mid Century Armchair in Green Jacquard, by Edmund Homa, 1960s

About the Item

One of the icon of Polish mid-century design, an armchair, designed by Edmund Homa - Polish architect, industrial and interior design designer, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. The armchair has been manufactured by Goscicinska Furniture Factory in Poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beech wood in a warm color, finished with a semi matte varnish. The upholstery is made of a high quality jacquard fabric in deep green color. The armchair has been professionally restored - both wood and upholstery - the wood has been polished and refinished, the new upholstery foams have been used, the upholstery was hand sewn. We can prepare our furniture in different fabrics and wood color according to your needs.
