An increasingly hard to find 'clam' chair.
Denmark, c1950s.
Attributed to Arnold Madsen, similar models were made by Philip Arctander.
The current fabric is in good condition but is fairly bright and flamboyant, and is ripe for re-upholstery, these are often done in shearling or sheepskin.
