About the Item
Came out of a government building in Oklahoma City.
Still labeled.
A fabulous pair of Mid Century/ Danish Modern Chairs by Thonet Industries. They are super heavy and solid chairs--the main base: back and seat are one solid piece of bent plywood. Legs and frame balance are Afromosia African teak.
The seats are in vinyl... at the time a luxury material-remember, during the war, there were no petroleum products offered to the public. Vinyl was space age and on the cutting edge in the design world.
