About the Item

One of the icon of Polish midcentury design, very rare nowadays GFM 300-192 armchair, designed by Juliusz Kedziorek - the author of many innovative, iconic furniture designs. The amrchair has been manufactured by Goscicinska Furniture Factory in Poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beechwood in a warm walnut color, finished with a semi matte satine varnish. The upholstery is made of one of a kind, highest quality jacquard fabric in deep green color with leaves pattern, designed by Anna Grabowska, coming from a very small weaving workshop. The armchair has been professionally restored - the wood has been manually cleaned of the old coating, stained and varnished. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams used, reapholstered with new fabric.
