Norwegian folk art chair 1850’s

About the Item

Decorative Rare Norwegian folk art chair with the original red and green painted wood and the original sea grass webbing from the 1850’s. The chair is made in solid wood by a skilled craftsman and has a beautiful detailed carving in the backrest of the chair which adds a great contrast to the chair. The chair is the perfect example of Norwegian folk art and would be the perfect decorative element for any style of interior from the traditional Scandinavian style of interior to a more modern style of interior or even to a more wabi sabi style of interior. The chair stands in close to original condition and has been taken very good care of by the previous owners.
