One Two Decorative Folding Savonarola Armchairs with Lion Head Well Carved Arms

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale one of two Savonarola armchairs I have a pair, this auction is for the chair with Lion head arms , the other chair which is listed under my other items has traditional rounded arms and silk tassels These chairs originally date back hundreds of years, this is naturally a contemporary version. The back rest pops out and the chair easily folds away We have cleaned waxed and polished the pair from top to bottom, it is in perfect vintage order Dimensions: Height 82cm Width 62cm Depth 52cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original Regency circa 1810-1820 carved oak frame depicting Lions heads armchair This chair is an absolute classic, designed as a Regency library chair, the frame is ornately carved in oak and depicts Lion's heads The chair is 100% solid and stable, the frame has been checked, we have also deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom.
