Pair, Swedish Gustavian armchairs with elegant slight curve to arms into back, balanced with tapered front legs, all adding to the graceful appeal of each.
Distinctive carved heads adorn the front under arms.
The newer black painted finish is gently distressed fitting the age of these lovely arm chairs.
Wood frame is restored, strong/stable. Signs of wear including nicks, dings, scratches and worn patina which reflect years of use and do not impact the function nor beauty of this pair of Swedish armchairs.
Simple muslin upholstery on back, sides and seat with deconstructed look and feel; staples and raw edges visible throughout; the fabric is simply holding batting in place and ready to be upholstered at discretion of buyer.
