Pair Ivan Matusik lounge chairs from Hotel Kyjev, Czechoslovakia 1970s

About the Item

The Hotel Kyjev was a large modern hotel in Bratislava during the Communist era, known for being one of the most luxurious during this period. This pair of lounge chairs were designed for Hotel Kyjev by Ivan Matusik. They are made up of two interlocking pieces which form a geometric chair. Recently reupholstered in Suzon Creme by Pierre Frey. H76 W63 D80cm
