Pair of 19th Century French Louis XVI Style Painted Fauteuils

About the Item

Exceptional pair of 19th century French Louis XVI style painted fauteuils. The chairs have Greek inspired geometrical fluted legs which continue in the upper back part of the frames and divert into the arms. Shield shaped seat backs. The chairs have some paint loss and the fabric should be upholstered, unless they are meant to be for a Bohemian styling. The chairs themselves are very solid and sturdy.
