Pair of Cabriolet Armchairs, Louis XVI style – Late 19th century

About the Item

Elegant pair of cabriolet armchairs, in re-edged wood, resting on turned legs. The front legs are continued by concave elements adorned with gilded acanthus leaf moldings supporting small armrests with cuffs. These armchairs are upholstered in a yellow fabric with alternating light and satin stripes. The seats, in perfect condition, are traditionally crafted with webbing, springs, horsehair, and cushions.
