Pair Of Continental 19th Century Biedermeier St. White Ash Burl Armchairs

About the Item

A handsome and most elegant pair of Continental 19th century Biedermeier st. White Ash Burl and ebonized Fruitwood armchairs. Each armchair is raised by four gently curved square legs and supported by carved hoof feet in front and block feet in the back. Above the straight apron, the rosette designed upholstered seat is finished with French nails. The scrolled square arms are mounted to the midsection of the pierced backrest with a central circular reserve below the rounded top crown.
