Pair Of Custom Upholstered Chippendale Style Carved Armchairs
About the Item
Fine and very decorative large scale Chippendale style armchairs, each with serpentine top rails and well- carved scrolled arms. The seat rails with large carved floral motifs on the front and are raised on cabriole legs with a carved flower and leaf and ending in ball-and-claw feet. Upholstered in a fine custom stylized tiger print fabric.
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signs of age and use including minor nicks and scuffs to the finish of the knees and feet. One chair with wear to the upholstery on one side and top rail with pulls and slightly frayed fabric. The second chair with slight pulls to the top rail but minor. There is slight wear to the upholstered arms. Overall an impressive pair in presentation.
