Wonderful pair of early 19th Century Italian armchairs. With painted and gilt decoration, beautifully weathered and worn, stripped and ready for their top layer.

    Replacements made: Strengthening blocks. Fillet of new timber fitted to inside of front seat rail on left hand side (as looking at front of chair). Other chair - four new strengthening blocks fitted internally to tops of the legs.
