About the Item
This stunning pair of heartback Hepplewhite mahogany chairs were created during the American Federal period, and popular throughout the eastern seaboard to the Carolinas from 1780 -1810. With its straight legs and spade feet, curvilinear shaped arms and back this neoclassical style is unmistakeably, that of the Londoner, George Heppelwhite's.
