Pair of Italian 18th Century Louis XV Style Silvered Leaf Venetian Armchairs

About the Item

A most elegant pair of Italian 18th century Louis XV st. silvered leaf Venetian armchairs. Each chair is raised by fine cabriole legs with an outstanding carved mottled design. The arbalest shaped friezes are centered by lovely foliate carvings. Each scrolled arm leads up to the beautiful upholstered back supports which also display the same most decorative mottled designs with delicate fillets at the borders and centered by top foliate reserves.
