About the Item
A pair of Swedish Gustavian carved-wood armchairs from the early 19th century. This splendid pair of antique 'Svenska Modellen' (meaning Swedish Model) armchairs from Sweden feature the open, rounded framed backs with wavy, pierced splat-back, typical in the design of these chairs.
