About the Item
Danish Modern designers are the undisputed masters of mid-century modern chair design. As this pair shows, their furniture generally united form and function; in every design, they placed the highest demands on comfort and ergonomics. Easy chairs – umbrella term for typically upholstered, comfortable chairs - in particular are expected to provide a design and level of comfort that assures relaxation. This is achieved by the slightly raised seats and bent backrests that guarantee these qualities.
This set of easy chair are fully upholstered in a luxurious beige fabric, epitomizing the essence of comfort. The large, enveloping backrests dictate the shape of these chairs, as they visually form most of the structure. The curvature creates an inviting and open look, with the large seats adding a lot of volume to the design, keeping it grounded and cosy.
