Pair Of Vintage Custom Upholstered Chinese Chippendale Style Club Chairs
About the Item
A pair of exceptional Club Chairs in Chippendale style. The carved frames in a dark stain with square slightly sloping backs, scrolled arms and faux bamboo Chinese Chippendale style open arm ends. Raised on square legs slightly splayed in back and with spandrels in front. Upholstered in a pale floral pattern fabric with a loose seat cushion.
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signs of age and use including some wear to the upholstery notable at the upper seat back piped trim and surface scuffs. With some scrapes and losses to the finish on the frame especially on the seat rail and legs and arm ends. Overall a fine vintage pair with a particularly striking presentation.
