A Swedish late Gustavian pair of klismos armchairs with lightly refreshed original paint. These stunning chairs have barrel backs with cravings of lions' heads. The frame features lamb's tongue carving throughout and the front legs are adorned with acanthus leaves. This pair has been newly upholstered in vintage French hemp linen. Richly carved and comfortable.
